1. Find your document in OneDrive and select share or from the document select File and then share
2. You have several options for controlling access to the document.
A) - You allow anyone who you send a link to be able to edit the document, this include people outside the CHRC. which can be useful if you have to work with outside parties. As anyone can access the document if they have the link it is advisable to put an expiration date on the link as this will stop anyone accessing the document through the link once it expires.
B) - You can make it that anyone within the CHRC is able to access the document if the have the link. very useful if you intend to use the document to work with other staff.
C) - You can link it so that only people who already had access to the document have access to the link. Which allows you greater version control as you know specifically who can edit this link.
D) - Last of all you can list specific people who will gain access to this link. you type in there email addresses and only they can access the link.
3. With all of these apart from the, People with Existing Access, you can also disable or enable editing. Depending on if you want others to work on the document as well or if you only want them to view the document.
4. If you decide that you need to change somebodies ability to edit a document or lack thereof. you can change that, select the hamburger menu (3 dots on top of each other) next to the document of your choice in OneDrive. Then hit details which will bring up everybody who has access to the document.
5. you then can select people to edit their level of access or you can manage access which will allow you to either share the document again or grant access to specific people. You can then choose if they are able to view only or if they can edit the document.
