Docs on tap is fully capable of running while offline in any of its forms (including the web browser). However to view documents offline it will require that you follow the below instructions. The below symbol shows that the device is online.

When the symbol changes to the below form then the device is offline.

Features such as annotations will be saved locally when the device is offline and be automatically synchronised when it connects back to the server. For a document to become available offline you have had to have view the document before. As soon as you view a document online it will automatically start downloading an offline version (unless the document is set to Online only). You will still be able to view a downloading document as whenever possible the app will attempt to view the online version of the document.

If a Document is available offline it will say underneath it (in the menu) that it is Available offline. Documents that are not downloaded will say Online Only

As all documents sync automatically there is no "sync now" button in the app or database.

When a document is created on the online portal expect some delay before it transfers to all devices. Admin accounts will be prioritised when created documents and pushing them out but please allow half an hour for every device to have access to your document. Though most should have access within 5 minutes.

To maximise the speed at which documents transfer can you please ensure that your devices (tablets and phones) are updating to there newest software level. for example with apple products you will have improved performance if you operate the newest iOS.

Lastly please be aware that Docs on Tap V2 is still being worked upon. If you have any issues with anything in the software please message the Business Systems team and we can offer feedback back to the developers. They are always happy to have feedback.
