Follow the below guide to create a new V: Drive security group and apply it to a new folder you've created:
Remote into CHRC-PRD-DC1 (Login with your Admin Account)
Go Into AD and follow the current path "CHRC.Internal > CHRC > Security Group > New Corporate Data"
Right click in the New Corporate Data folder, go "New > Group" Make sure the security group is GLOBAL, SECURITY. Name the file "Security-Corpdata-(File Name E.G. RatesNotices) Make sure the to fill out the Description for the file so anyone has a general overview of what the Security group gives access too. Keep in mind you may have to make 2 Security Groups for some files (One for Read one for Edit) these are the exact same apart from the name "Security-Corpdata-RatesNotices-Read or Security-Corpdata-RatesNotices-Edit" The Security groups get changed at the last step.
Click "OK"
Make sure the group is a member of its base folder E.G. Security-Corpdata-RatesNotices will be a member of Security Corpdata-CorporateServices (As this is the file above it)
After the Security Group is created go into File Explorer (While still in remote)
Put in "\\chrcfs01\General_Corp_Data$"
Find where you want the folder to go (E.G. Finance goes into Corporate Services folder)
Right click whilst in the folder and go New > Folder then name the folder accordingly
Right click onto your new folder and go Properties > Security > Edit From here you can
Add the new Security group
Edit permissions to match the Security Group be it Edit or Read permissions (As we spoke about earlier this is where you change the permissions for Read or Edit Security Groups (Read only or Read and Edit "Modify")
Click Apply, the group should now be ready to go.
