When updates or software changes are made available to your computer you will receive a notification like this down near the clock on the start bar.
You will have 7 days from when the updates are first released to your computer. After 7 days the system will do a forced install next time the computer is on the network.
If you click on the above pop-up notification you can view what is available to be installed and can choose to apply the updates now or to post pone to a more suitable time.
If any of the updates require a restart and you didn’t tick to restart automatically you will receive a notification like the one below.
If you ignore this prompt it will log you off and restart your computer once the 90 min time counts down.
In addition to the pop up notification or if you click on it you will get a count down timer like the one below where you can choose to restart now or wait until the count down completes.
On start up or shut down do not interrupt the computer if it advises you it is processing updates.
